5th March 2019

FULLY ESCORTED 16 night trip (Main 14 day trip with an option to trek and see the Himalayas and extra 3 nights.)

Featured in 'The Artist' magazine December 2018 and 'Australian Artist' November 2018.

Still swooning somewhat from our recent exceptional visit in March this year, we are delighted to be returning to India in March next year. As our colleagues and friends know, we have fallen completely in love with India, as have our guests and tutors, so it will be an absolute thrill to go back to three exceptional locations.

Next spring we are headed to the exquisite lakeside city of Udaipur for a week of painting, dining, exploring temples, silks and spices – you name it, we will see it. Then we will travel up to the Corbett Wildlife Reserve in Uttarakhand to the jungle where we will get the chance to see tigers, leopards, jackals, sloths and elephants, a wealth of spectacular birds and, along the rivers and lakeshores, crocodile and other reptile species. Finally we head into the mountains to see the breathtaking Himalayas, painting, photographing and trekking.

Led by Belinda Biggs, Seraphina and David Moody. Between us we have 30 years experience running these fabulous painting courses.

We can offer all painting mediums and photography on this amazing 'trip of a lifetime'. Phenomenal artists and dedicated hosts, we are all very excited to be leading this 16 night painting course in Rajasthan and Uttarakhand which welcomes beginners to experienced artists and their friends or partners which covers all art mediums and photography.

This course is already attracting international attention from previous guests who want to visit and paint in this stunning location, so early booking is essential to guarantee our places and the best rooms plus Safari jeep permits. We need to ensure we have the best naturalists with us for our trip to the jungle and Himalayas and these have to be booked months in advance of our trip.

After the 7 days in Udaipur, and five days at Jim’s Jungle Retreat we are offering an extra option at the end of your 12 days of painting to go trekking in the foothills of the Himalayas, bird watching and painting. Please check this out at the end of this page.

What the trip will offer:

'Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your hard work to ensure that our holiday was a success. You both really knocked yourselves out taking care of us. I couldn’t have asked for more. Hope your journey home was smooth. I’ll be in touch when I’ve had a go at finishing my pictures.'
